Background:
Yoh Asakura is a shaman.
Gifted with the power of being able to see ‘ghosts’ or ‘spirits’ since little, his grandfather trained him to become the ‘King of Shamans’; however, Yoh didn’t seem to be interested in this at first ‘cause he thought it’ll be troublesome and all he wanted was a nice calm life in which he wouldn’t have to do anything, but he decided to become the Shaman King to achieve his goal (that lazy ass >.>;;).
When he turned thirteen he joined the shaman fight and his violent (yet cool) fiancé, appearing from nowhere, obliged him to start training since she wanted to be the wife of the future Shaman King (and going against her will is rather SCARY).
After that he met lots of nice people and also discovered he had a twin, Hao Asakura, who was a reincarnation and wanted to destroy all human kind to create an ideal world with just shamans (thing that Yoh didn’t like one bit).
So after a bunch of fights and stuff, Yoh finally managed to defeat Hao with the help o all his friends; but not killing him ‘cause he just wasn’t be able to it.
Yoh had a rather lonely childhood since most of the kids of the school he assisted to wouldn’t want to do anything with him or just ignore him because of his powers to see ‘spirits’ or ‘ghosts’. And become a bit silent until he met Manta Oyamada, who became his first living friend.
He has a really high sense of friendship and will do anything for his friends.
He’s calm and doesn’t like to rush things, but scary if someone threatens his friends. Lazy but determined, absent minded and easy going, and he kinda trust in anyone at first :D;;. He likes listening to Bob Marley and loves Oranges ^_^.
(And I don’t care about the ‘Funbari no Uta’ continuation crap or something >__>;)
